Let Kuro Lotuz be your new favorite workout buddy! Zalika has been a certified black belt

martial artist/ instructor, yoga practitioner, educator, artist and community event planner in

Washington, DC/Maryland for over 10years. Zalika found her passion for sharing knowledge

and uplifting others in her youth as a volunteer for various programs. Having experienced the

physical, emotional and spiritual benefits of consistent exercise, she found inspiration for the

mission behind her business Kuro Lotuz.

Zalika’s passion is to guide all people towards an accessible way to a more health conscious

lifestyle through techniques derived from yoga and martial arts. She understands every

individual body is unique, with their own strengths and limitations and finds joy in helping each

person make progress. Aiming to transform your fitness experience and guide you to make

more mindful decisions when it comes to your movements.

​Zalika believes that everyone deserves to live a healthy, peaceful and happy life and that

consistent mindful movement is instrumental in making that happen. Each session is catered to

personal needs such as modifications, target areas, energy level, and emotional state. In the

winter of 2021 Zalika launched “You Canna Stretch” a weekly guided elevated yoga session on

Fridays. Pulling from her own experience of incorporating plant medicine into a fitness routine,

Zalika guides you through a yoga flow while discussing tips on cannabis consumption.

Along with tips on cannabis and fitness, Zalika is also a skilled jewelry maker. Specializing in

wire and hemp designs for healing crystal jewelry. During a fitness session Zalika also enjoys

educating about healing crystals benefits and uses as they can also help enhance the
